2026-2027 8th Grade Balloting Information

Balloting for 8th Grade classes will begin on Wednesday February 11th. The counselor will provide copies of the ballots and course descriptions to 7th Grade students in their History classes on this date.

Ballots are due to History teachers by Wednesday February 18th. If your student has chosen Leadership or Office Aide as an elective choice, an application must be submitted to be considered for the class. Applications are also due by Wednesday February 18th. 

 

Leadership and Office Aide Applications

Below are the links for applications for Leadership and Office Aide. Students must be logged into their OJUSD email account to access the google forms. Students will only be considered for these classes if an application is submitted. Application deadline is the same day your ballot is due.

Presentations to 6th Grade classes at elementary schools will take place on the dates listed below. Copies of the ballot and course descriptions will be provided at this time. Each school site has a week to complete and turn in their ballots. Students are to return their ballots to their 6th Grade teacher by the date listed below.

Fair Oaks

Tuesday February 17th - Presentation to 6th Grade students

Tuesday February 24th - Ballots due to 6th Grade teachers. If Leadership was selected, application is also due.

 

Cloverland

Friday February 20th - Presentation to 6th Grade students

Friday February 27th - Ballots due to 6th Grade teachers. If Leadership was selected, application is also due.

 

Sierra View

Monday February 23rd - Presentation to 6th Grade students

Monday March 2nd - Ballots due to 6th Grade teachers. If Leadership was selected, application is also due.

 

Magnolia

Wednesday February 25th - Presentation to 6th Grade students

Wednesday March 4th - Ballots due to 6th Grade teachers. If Leadership was selected, application is also due.
