Counselor Meeting request For Students

The school counselor helps to address personal, social, emotional, and academics needs of all students. This is done through counseling, consulting, and collaborating with students, parents, teachers, staff, and administrators. If you feel like you are struggling in any of the following:

  • Academics
  • Assistance with transition into middle school
  • Conflict management
  • Crisis
  • Social or emotional issues

2023-2024 Balloting INformation

7th GRaders

Monday, February 27th to Wednesday, March 1st - 7th grade students will begin balloting for 8th grade classes. OJHS Counselor will be going to History classes to discuss balloting and answer questions. Copies of the ballot will be provided at this time. 

Wednesday, March 8th - Ballots are due to History teachers

6th Graders

Monday, March 6th to Friday, March 10th - 6th grade students will begin balloting for 7th grade classes. Presentations at schools to discuss balloting and answer questions will be this week. Copies of the ballot will be provided at this time.

Wednesday, March 15th - Ballots are due to student's teacher

If you selected any of the following electives: Leadership or Office Aide an application must be submitted. 

*Students need to be logged into their school email in order to access the applications*

Applications are due by Friday, March 17th.
