The staff at Oakdale Junior High School make a daily commitment to pursue greatness for each student, parent, and our community.

It is extremely important that all OJHS students attend “Round-Up”. A parent/guardian is strongly encouraged to accompany their student.  Each student will pick up their class schedule and their home set of textbooks.

Students will also have an opportunity to purchase a yearbook and PE clothes.  Yearbooks will be sold for $40.00.  PE clothes will consist of a T-shirt and shorts or leggings.  Please see the enclosed flyer for pricing and Web Store information.  Due to availability, only one set of PE clothes per student may be purchased during Round-Up.  Additional PE clothes may be purchased in room F1 (Business Office) starting August 4th.  Cash, check and major credit cards will be accepted.  If you are paying by check, please make check payable to OJHS.  Out-of-town checks and/or $100 bills will NOT be accepted.

California Law: Tdap immunization for whooping cough and two Varicella immunizations are required for all students entering 7th to 12th grade. Your student will not receive his/her schedule without the immunization verification. Shots are not provided at Round-Up.

We ask that you and /or your student attend Round-Up with the printed and signed Data Confirmation form.  Class schedules will not be handed out to eighth graders with outstanding fines.  If using a P.O. Box for your mailing address, you will be required to provide proof of residency for your resident address. (i.e., current electric bill, water bill, rental agreement or escrow closing document).

A limited number of computers and assistance will be available for your use in the cafeteria.

If you are not able to attend Round-Up, please turn in the required information and pick up your schedule of classes in the office beginning August 2, 2021.

We hope to see all of you at Round-Up on Wednesday, July 28, 2021.

    About Our School

    About Us

Welcome to Oakdale Junior High School. This is a proud school with a tradition of providing a well-rounded educational experience to all our students. Our academics are rigorous, our athletics well coached, and our after school program is the best in the county. We encourage students to work hard, get involved, and do their best. We believe that every student has the potential for greatness in their lives and the power to be world changers. Oakdale Junior High staff and students are committed to relentlessly chasing the will to be great, by trusting in themselves and others around them; having the courage, self-discipline, knowledge, the competitive drive, and preparation to work hard and pursue a vision that is greater then one-self and inspiring others to take the journey with them. That, combined with significant parental guidance and support, is the key for preparing students for high school and years to come.
